The Lost Tribe of the Democrat Jew
August 19, 2024Convention Day 1: Biden’s Requiem
August 19, 2024Trump Got Shot Too Early in the Election Cycle
Politically speaking, former President Donald Trump’s attempted assassination came too early in the election calendar. No political violence should be acceptable to Americans, but it seems to be our birthright when you look at our past. Putting aside the obvious detestation over what happened to Trump, we still must put that event in the lens of a presidential election.
After Trump was shot there were way too many days left in the presidential campaign to ride that collective wave of adoration for the former president. There was too much time on the political calendar for the leftist mainstream press to make that incident go away. Now, if Joe Biden were the one shot, you would still be getting wall-to-wall coverage of the assassination plot. Today, the shameless press has swept Trump’s brush with death mostly under the proverbial rug.
The Democrat media has downplayed the entire ordeal. There are no stories of the “motive” when it comes to the shooter. There are no background exposés of all the people the shooter grew up with. Missing is any curiosity whatsoever from the mainstream press about all of the details of this diegesis. The press is too busy helping the Democrat Party push a Progressive leftist presidential ticket upon voters. The media is giving us little information about the attempted assassination of a former president. Where are the backstories of one of the most historic events in American history? Nobody, and I mean not one outlet, is giving the country and the world for that matter a comprehensive breakdown of what just happened. Focusing on the shooting would be displeasing to the Democrat Party. Democrats and their media whores cannot have that shiny object of an assassin’s bullet to grab the public’s attention.
It is more important to the press to publish stories of rumored couch sex than it is to report on the impetus of a killer. People have grown tired of complaining about the press. Americans are sick of the same old leftist bias. It is a given now, that this generation of journalism has destroyed the concept of a free press. The members of today’s press know who and what they are now, they just do not care how it looks. These people are fine being puppets for their chosen political party.
The barking dogs of the mainstream media have their shock collar on tight. They are obedient to the master that holds the leach. After all, they do not want to feel the shock of retribution from the elites. They do not want to be cut out of the cocktail party scene. God forbid, they recall the tenet of “speaking truth to power” or hear the echoes from the past of holding the powerful to account. Committing journalism is a crime in Washington D.C. and a journalist could find themselves on the wrong end of government surveillance, lawfare, and incarceration. They do not want to end up like Rudy Giuliani and others who have had politics wreak their lives.
When Donald Trump rose from the smoke of the gunfire and stood bloody with his arm in the air screaming, fight! fight! Well, many of us said that was it, the man will be the next president. After all, he took a bullet for his and our beliefs that America must come first. Instantly, even the Democrats with sour faces had to admit that the election was over, and Trump would win. Most people figured that Donald would ride a wave of admiration that would sweep him back into power.
But there was something America was not realizing that day and the following days. We forgot that America has the attention span of a goldfish. We live in the “what have you done for me lately” moment and time. There was just too much of a stretch between the shooting and the election to hold our interests. Always remember my admission when I wrote about “America’s Hero Fatigue Syndrome.” We will build them up and then we will break them down, that is the American way. They are our heroes, and they are for sale.
