The leftist mainstream press always throws a hissy fit when Former President Donald Trump asks American Jews how on Earth can they vote for anyone in the Democrat Party. Putting partisanship aside, Trump is asking a legitimate question. It makes little sense that an American Jew would embrace a political party that has such a strong anti-Semitic bent. All you have to do is look at your screens whether it is your television, smartphone, or whatever screen you view the news, and you can see these ignorant protests by Democrats who support Hamas over Israel.

That is not Republicans out there calling for the destruction of the only Jewish country in the Middle East. The “River to the Sea” folks do not vote Republican. These are Progressive leftist Democrats that attack American Jews and make them feel unwelcome. Things are different today and the political parties have shifted. It is the Republican Party that supports Israel, not the Democrats. So why do Jews in the Democrat Party not realize they are in the wrong Party?

Wandering around in the political desert with no home would be better than voting for and financially supporting a political party that has a timid kinship to Jewish Americans. If they cannot get themselves to back Republicans, then ideology is stronger than the self-identification of Judaism. Secular Progressivism is their religion now. Democrat Jews look at Israel with a left/right viewpoint. When the left has power in Israel, Democrat Jews are all about their ancestorial homeland. If the right is in charge of the Israeli government, then the Democrat Jews care less.

The are way too many American Jews who care more about the plight of Palestinians than they do about the victims of their terrorism. This axiom is not only shocking to President Donald Trump, but it is bewildering to many Republicans and right-leaning people. We do not understand it, and from afar, it looks traitorous.

Many of us have been waiting for the Black community to wake up and realize they are being used by the Democrat Party. For years we waited for Blacks to see that the Democrat Party only shows interest around election time. I guess now, we will have to put American Jews on the list of groups that have not recognized the titanic shift that has already happened to the two-party system here in America.

Despite what allegiance Jews have politically had in the past here in America, Republicans welcome you. I say to any American Jew who is wandering out there in the political desert, or who feels uneasy with the direction of the Democrat Party, that the Republican Party has your interests at heart. If you care about the existence of Israel, then this is the Party that you should be in. In that regard, this is the most important change in the history of Jewish America.
