Pentagon Insiders Sound Alarm Over Hegseth’s Wife and Secret Nickname
April 24, 2025The Left/Right Catholic Church
The Catholic Church is one of the oldest institutions in human history, grounded in two millennia of sacred tradition, divine revelation, and apostolic succession. It is a rock amid the shifting sands of cultural change. Yet today, that foundation is being questioned by a growing push from within, a movement driven by liberal voices who seek to reshape the Church according to modern sensibilities and political correctness. If you value the eternal truths of the Catholic faith, this internal struggle is not only troubling but dangerous to the very soul of Catholicism.
The Church is not meant to reflect the world, but to challenge it. Christ Himself said, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” That renewal comes from Scripture, the Magisterium, and sacred tradition, it does not come from the whims of each passing generation. Yet there are now calls to alter Church teachings on everything from human sexuality and marriage to the role of women and the sanctity of the liturgy. Proponents of these changes often argue that the Church must evolve to stay “relevant,” but relevance was never Christ’s mission. Truth, not popularity, is what He proclaimed, and truth does not change.
Pope Benedict XVI was my favorite Pope. He told the world that the nativity scene at Christmas time is not real, but it’s okay to do it for tradition. Benedict did not want Catholics to believe that was a true story. He wrote many books, and he cared about the truth of things and not about all the silly stuff we built up over time that is not true. Not too long after he made that claim in a book, that the nativity scene is fictitious, the Cardinals had him step down and forced him out, not too long after that, and replaced him with this liberal Pope who was not kind to America.
In this struggle between liberal and conservative forces, I stand firmly on the side of tradition. Not because I fear change, but because I trust in the timeless wisdom of the Church. The deposit of faith entrusted to us is not ours to alter, but to preserve and hand down. The Church must continue to be a beacon in the darkness, not by reflecting the world, but by standing against it. To abandon tradition is to sever the connection to the apostles, the saints, and to Christ Himself.
