I have heard and read many critiques on Ron DeSantis and his form of governing. Never-Trumpers and Conservatives do not understand Ron’s form of governance. First off, stop wishing Ron DeSantis is conservative, he is, in fact, a populist. Ron is not a small government type in a traditional way. The governor uses the government to slap back Progressivism and all of its ilk. Instead of standing on a political mountain complaining about how big government has taken over everything, Ron takes that same size government and turns it against his political enemies.

Ron DeSantis leads a movement that believes that shrinking government is impossible now but using that big government to fight a Marxist slide is possible. His governance of Florida proves that Ron’s form of Republicanism is superior to the ways of the establishment. The traditional Republican establishment has been defeated by the Democrat Party for many years now. The Democrats have won the popular national vote more times than the Republican establishment wants to admit until a Populist President Donald Trump won it.

Any categorization of Ron DeSantis or measuring him by Bush/Romey standards is folly. That part of the Republican Party was killed off forever by the MAGA Movement. Ron’s style fits MAGA, but in truth, he would be a better steward of America First policies than some RINO. We did not get to see that on a national level because the Republican base felt that after two fake impeachments, multiple arrests, and trying to remove the man from the ballot in the Democrat States; Donald Trump deserved a chance for a second term.

That primary that the Republican had does not reflect negatively upon Ron DeSantis, but rather some unfinished business MAGA had with President Donald Trump. Once the Trump era is over Ron DeSantis would be a better torchbearer than J.D. Vance or any other Republican politician. Ron DeSantis did the impossible, he flipped the bluest counties in all of Florida. Ron DeSantis won Dade and Palm Beach County which for a Republican was unimaginable.

That feat was almost as big as Trump smashing the so-called Blue Wall in the 2016 presidential election. Ron is the logical future for the Republican Party and gives the right-wing a chance to win the popular vote nationwide.  DeSantis is the only Republican who can fence with the media and come out on top. Ron dices up the leftist press like a Pac-man eats its dots. The man should pick himself to replace Marco Rubio in the Senate and ignore voices telling him otherwise.
