April 18, 2025Pam Bondi Wrong Person
I hoped I was wrong then and was willing to give Pam a chance. From the minute she was selected as Attorney General, I said she was the wrong person for the job. I like Pam Bondi and lived under her stewardship of justice as Attorney General for Florida. My feelings at the time came from watching her in the impeachment hearings.
Donald Trump had this amazing legal team with giants like Alan Dershowitz and others. One by one, Trump’s lawyers would stand up in front of the Senate and thunder down their grandiloquent omnipotence and brilliant legal brains. Go back and watch what happened when Pam stood up. Side by side with Trump’s team, she looked out of place and it was impossible to ignore. She looked “less” juxtaposed to the rest of Trump’s legal team.
Pam was out of place because the federal legal system is not the same as Florida’s legal system. They are two different fields of law that have little in common with one another. I thought at the time that Pam did not know federal law, and that is why she looked like she was in over her head. Don’t take my word for it, go back and look at the videos of the Trump Impeachment and his legal defense.
So, when Pam got tapped for U.S. AG, I thought Pam did not know the federal system, so how could she clean up the Department of Justice? Not knowing anything about what goes on in that building, the bad guys conducting lawfare against Trump could hide right under Pam’s nose because she did not know that world. I felt the same way about some other Cabinet picks Trump handed down, many had no experience that would give them a chance to clean up their departments.
Now, Pam has been Attorney General of the United States for months, and she has not arrested one single Democrat for anything that has transpired over the last decade of crime they engaged in. There is no need for investigations; we know who they are, and what they did, and these people are ready to be arrested. Yet, Pam has done nothing to go after these crooks who committed crimes out in the open for all to see. All Pam is doing is suing people in a “Civil” court, not a criminal court. It is like Pam is the Attorney General of the Civil Division of the Justice Department and not all of it.
I am America First, I hold dear the MAGA movement and I like Pam Bondi, but if Pam does not get going with what she, herself, said, “time to investigate the investigators,” then it might be time for the president to replace her with somebody who has had a career in federal law. It is like the analogy Ross Perot made to Bill Clinton when running for president. Ross told Bill to his face during the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign what it meant to be out of your league. Ross Perot made a memorable remark about Bill Clinton’s gubernatorial experience in Arkansas. In a debate, Perot stated,
“I could say that I ran a small grocery store on the corner, therefore, I extrapolate that into the fact that I could run Wal-Mart. That’s not true.”
This comment was a response to Clinton’s argument that his experience as governor of Arkansas was relevant to running the country. Perot’s point was that managing a small state did not necessarily equate to the skills required to manage a large nation. This applies to Pam; just because you were Attorney General of Florida does not mean you have the experience to be Attorney General of the United States of America.
