September 25, 2024Hurricane Coverage: Republican vs. Democrat
America constantly complains about the leftist bias of the media. Hoping that one day the press will find its way and clean up their behavior has become a pastime now. Nowhere is the bias more prevalent than it is when observing the press coverage of hurricanes. The news coverage itself you would think would not be biased. After all, this subject matter is not politics, it is life and death, and no place for a political bent.
However, there is no better example of the “fall of the press” than watching their coverage of a hurricane. The coverage will depend on whether or not a Democrat is in the White House, a Republican is governor, or whether it falls on an election year. The leftist bias of hurricane coverage shows how deep this sickness goes. The condition of the press is terminal. They now only speak to their bubble of Americans; the press no longer matters to most people in our nation, it is dying.
The press coverage of Hurricane Helene was and is a disgusting anathema. If a Republican was in the White House you would have wall-to-wall coverage about how bad the governmental response of Helene is. Like George W. Bush in Hurricane Katrina, you would hear every day, every hour, and every breath spoken how horrible the president is in handling a natural disaster. You remember, right? George W. Bush hates Black people, you recall them saying that, right? Democrats even find racism in a hurricane; they are sick people.
Now, if it is Barack Obama and Hurricane Sandy, well then, a category 1 hurricane is called a “Super Storm” and what a great job Obama did handling that. Bla-bla-bla. The juxtaposition of press coverage in which the leftist politics are infused is grotesque. The reason why the national press is mostly ignoring Helene’s aftermath is because they do not want to show you how bad the Democrats are doing with the storm’s carnage left behind right before an election. What they fail to realize is people do not go to them for on-the-ground real coverage of what is going on, many other sources bypass the mainstream bias nowadays. We see how bad Democrats are doing with Hurricane Helene, they’re not fooling anyone.
Now we have hurricane Milton, an unpredictable storm, not in 80 years of studying hurricanes have trackers seen a hurricane even take this particular path, not another hurricane in recorded history has made this storm track, so heaven knows what the story of this storm will be in the end. The only thing we can count on, and the only thing you can take to the bank, is that Governor Ron DeSantis is the best politician in the entire nation to handle hurricanes. How do we know that? He has a record. How can we see this? We don’t watch the leftist press during hurricanes.
