The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines propaganda as the spreading of ideas, information, or rumors for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person. It goes on further to denote that it also includes ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one’s cause or to damage an opposing cause. Propaganda is political in nature, and it can come from both sides of the political aisle here in America. However, currently speaking, today the nation is in the grips of a leftist ideology that is ripping apart the core tenets of our Democratic Republic. With the use of Marxist-Leninist propaganda, the Democrat Party and the Progressive Movement together are in the process of destroying every norm, tradition, or institution it gets its hands on.

The First Amendment is the killing field where leftist propagandists operate. Unlike the fields in Cambodia that Sydney Schanberg and Dith Pran wrote about in the New York Times Magazine, bloodletting comes to us through America’s newspapers, cable news stations, and many sources online. The mothership of today’s propaganda comes from down high in the Democratic Party and establishment. One good example of this was when Hillary Clinton purposely spread the rumor that her opponent Donald Trump was a Russian asset. The New York Post founded in 1801 by Alexander Hamilton reported in September of 2020 that the Director of Nation Intelligence John Ratcliffe alerted President Barack Obama that Mrs. Clinton had conjured up a Russian rumor against Donald Trump.

The top echelon of the Democrat Party from President Obama to then Vice President Biden kept silent as Hillary Clinton unleased falsehoods that would have made George Orwell’s Newspeak proud. Today it is known as the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax. All of the mainstream “so-called” trusted news sources wrote shameful propaganda pieces to support the fairytale that Donald Trump was some Manchurian Candidate straight out of Moscow. This one propagandist event laid waste to all objectivity of the Free Press and permanently damaged the trust Americans had in their traditional news sources. This bastardization of a free and fair election gave birth to the term “fake news” that spread worldwide. Every tin-pot dictator around the world clung to the term to discredit the press in their countries.

Back here at home, the leftist propagandists in the press were busy giving themselves rewards for their cover of a completely false story as if it were real. The New York Times and the Washington Post were rewarded with a Pulitzer Prize for their work. Not one single news organization ever apologized for their role in this attack on the First Amendment. Not a single “sorry” crossed the lips of any news outlet that participated in this propaganda. No Pulitzer Prizes were revoked. Not even after the Inspector General released a report revealing it was all a lie did anybody cop to it. The press just moved on to the next propaganda, the Hunter Biden Laptop Russian disinformation hoax.

The Hoax was simple, when all of the crimes of Hunter Biden and the Biden family came out on a laptop they started the hoax. Hunter left a computer with all of the family’s dirty laundry at a repair shop right before the 2020 Presidential Election. The shop owner turned over the computer to the FBI and it became public. When the dirt started coming out that was on the laptop the hoax went into full gear.

The President and every Democrat from the intelligence agencies to every arm of the left, started saying Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. If anyone mentioned it publicly the tech companies would ban those posts and folks completely. Even 60 Minutes denied the laptop’s authenticity to Trump’s face, claiming it could not be verified. The left knowingly spread this falsehood and won the election for Joe Biden. A poll afterward said that enough people would NOT have voted for Biden if they knew the truth, more than enough people to throw the election to Trump.

The Hunter hoax worked for the left, they got what they needed, and Democrats successfully interfered with the 2020 Presidential Election. Their Weekend at Bernie’s Manchurian Candidate Joe Biden became president. So, when the truth came out in the Hunter Biden federal gun trial in June of 2024, it was met with crickets from the sycophant press and all of the left. It did not matter anymore that the FBI admitted in open federal court that they knew Hunter’s laptop was real the whole time. Everything worked out, so the left will do this kind of thing repeatedly.

Sure, Hunter became a convicted felon on a gun charge, which was the price they would pay. They’ll deal with that later. There will be clean up on Isle Hunter soon enough, you’ll see. Look for a pardon or commutation after I publish this later down the road. For now, leftist propaganda wins and lives to misinform another day. The left is ready to employ these tactics all over again for the 2024 Presidential Election. Why wouldn’t they? The deleterious propaganda worked.
