September 23, 2024Hollow Harris Haloed
The mainstream leftist press is having a hard time covering for Kamala Harris and her vacuousness. You can see the media heads just straining to make her look like some angel sent to save America from the devil Trump. The perception that Kamala Harris embodies vacuousness has been a recurring criticism from various corners, particularly among her political opponents and detractors.
To some, Harris is seen as lacking depth in her policy positions, often accused of presenting ideas that are more performative than substantive. This narrative has gained traction due to a combination of factors, including her communication style, public gaffes, and the broader expectations placed on her as a vice president. The woman looks flat-out lost most of the time.
One of the central reasons some perceive Harris as vacuous stems from her public speaking style, which at times is marked by repetitive phrasing, vague assertions, and a tendency to avoid direct answers. Critics point to her handling of interviews, press conferences, and even speeches, where they argue that her responses often lack specifics or are overly rehearsed.
For example, Harris has been accused of delivering responses filled with platitudes and circular reasoning, such as her now infamous “The Passage of Time” speech in which she seemingly restated the same concept without offering new insights. This has led to accusations that she struggles to articulate clear, cogent thoughts on complex issues, further contributing to the perception of shallowness.
Another factor that feeds into this perception is her inconsistency on certain policy issues. Harris has a track record of shifting her stances, often aligning with whatever seems politically expedient at the time. For instance, during her tenure as a senator and her presidential campaign, she took positions on issues like healthcare (supporting Medicare for All before later backing off) and criminal justice reform (disavowing some of the tough-on-crime policies she previously championed as California’s Attorney General). To critics, these reversals suggest a lack of a coherent ideological foundation, painting her as opportunistic rather than committed to deeply held principles.
Harris’ role as vice president has further amplified the narrative of vacuousness, as the public spotlight on her has intensified. Her handling of major assignments, such as overseeing the southern border and addressing the root causes of migration, has been widely scrutinized. Critics argue that she has been largely absent or ineffective in these roles, with little to show in terms of concrete results.
The perceived lack of progress in these areas has been interpreted by some as evidence of her inability to tackle substantive issues head-on, further fueling the idea that she is an empty vessel or puppet. The press can put a halo over Kamala’s head all they want, but hearing about how she rose to power through Willie Brown, we can see she is no angel. Sadly, this hollow woman has an audience, the rest of us are just spectators of her Orwellian Newspeak and this is our Truman Show.
