Kamala’s Chance to Show Presidential Leadership: Joe Biden Must Go Now
August 8, 2024Democrat Convention: Harris Sworn in as 47th President
August 9, 2024CNN’s Three Faces of Failure
For Generation X and Baby Boomers who were there the very first day CNN was launched, we are all sad about how the network got messed up. CNN had a special place in our hearts because we watched it grow up. We were there from the beginning and witnessed how it spread around the world. Americans understood at the time what Ted Turner was doing was salient and meaningful. If there was something important going on in the world, we would turn on CNN to see what was happening.
Fast forward to today and all that is left of the network is sour-faced partisan hacks that destroyed the network. The new crop of Generation X anchors that took over, singlehandedly brought down that brand. Jake Tapper, Anderson Cooper, and Dana Bash are the faces of failure. For millions of people, when we see their faces, we turn the channel. They are horrible, it is truly unwatchable. The ratings for CNN as a whole are so bad that it is hard to justify them taking up space on our basic cable networks.
Outside of being trapped in an airport with CNN, almost nobody watches it anymore. That bears out in the ratings; don’t take my word for it. The anchors there ruined something great by becoming activists for the Democrat Party. Collectively the anchors sold all of their integrity down the road. Being the author of the book (available on Amazon) “Bloody Newsroom: How Fake News from One Station Drove Another Newsroom’s Staff to be Murdered Live on TV,” I know how terrible things can get with the press. Jake Tapper’s angry and sullen face jumps across our screens with such velocity that we are forced to duck under its gaze.
It is abundantly obvious that these three people are not happy folks. I thought when Anderson Cooper lost his mom, and she left him two hundred million dollars, that he would go away. However, the man stayed working there spreading his daily doom and gloom and leftist ideology. Anderson Cooper is living proof that money does not buy you happiness. Cooper is a blazing left-wing controlled activist drowning in self-denial like his peers Dana Bash and Jake Tapper.
Dana Bash has no business being on the air. That woman is not objective under any circumstance. Dana has no business walking around the halls of CNN pretending to be a member of the free press. We can never forget it was reported that Dana’s husband was one of those liars who signed that document stating Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation. Bash and her husband had intricate roles in the election interference and shenanigans of the presidential election of 2020. They spread their Russia, Russia, Russia, bullshit far and wide.
Nobody understands why on Earth CNN is just fine sitting at the bottom of the ratings for so long. It does not make any sense to not try and save this jewel of the past. Until CNN executives remove the three faces of failure, there is no hope for a comeback. The news network forgot about doing the news and got into partisan politics. That is not just my opinion, it was one of the last things said by Ted Turner publicly as he slipped further into Lewy Body dementia. While Ted lingers in that darkness, the three faces of CNN have eviscerated what he built. “It’s a sad, sad, situation, and it is getting more and more absurd” are the Elton John lyrics that come to mind.
