D.C. is currently waiting on Congress to authorize its fiscal year 2025 budget, which is over $1 billion more than the 2024 budget, but Congress shouldn’t authorize it without addressing some corrupt policies within the nation’s capital. When it comes to elections, D.C. should be required to restrict voting to American citizens only and eliminate its ranked-choice voting system.
