The constant assassination attempts on Former President Donald Trump highlight a deep sickness in our body politic. It has become common vernacular to call this mind virus “Derangement Syndrome”, but it is not something new in America. Generation X became aware of a mental disease back at the start of the century called “Bush Derangement Syndrome.”

When we watched people blame President George W. Bush for everything bad that happened in the world, we realized some kind of rife sickness was floating about. At the time, most experts thought this was a temporary mental disorder. Now that time has passed by, we can now see it is a permanent psychological disorder or mind virus that seems to have no cure. Americans can see it is a condition that brings with it murder and mayhem.

We have learned that this mind virus jumps from one Republican host to another. This disease did not start with Trump and it will not end with Trump, it will return perennially like the flu without a vaccine. Some unsuspecting Republicans in the future will be labeled a quisling and will face an unearned level of vitriol. Words matter.

At the beginning of the Obama administration, many people would just blame Bush for all of Obama’s problems or shortfalls. Then, time went by, and people started to ask when will Obama own his mistakes. Obama, himself, still to this day, blames Bush for everything that went wrong in his presidency. Obama’s people have blamed Bush for hurricanes, terrorism, and the BP oil spill.

It is clear looking back that these folks never held Obama to account for his inchoate performance. Every time he failed at something; it would be blamed on Bush. There are countless older people out there who will go to their graves blaming Bush for everything. Some will have Bush Derangement on their lips as the last words spoken in this world. Fast-forward to today and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris blame all the problems of the world on the shoulders of Former President Donald Trump.

The hellacious derangement syndrome hopped to the latest Republican host and here we go again. Rinse and repeat, and a new generation of leftist lunatics are running around with the same political rabies they had in the Bush days. Now, the same hatred for George W. Bush has been projected onto Donald Trump. When it comes to Trump versus Bush in the case of derangement, they are both equal in that regard. I don’t think the younger people understand that. Bush was called Hitler too.

The Surgeon General of the United States should ask Congress to require warning labels on Social Media claiming that a fascinorous political mind virus is running around going unchecked on their platforms. A plague of Progressivism and Socialism is lurking and has possibly gone airborne. If there is another explanation for all this, I’d like to hear it. Trump Derangement Syndrome is identical to Bush Derangement Syndrome, so how did that happen?

We can all argue over who is to blame for this political violence and deranged hatred, but living in the here and now, the Secret Service must realize the professional assassin out there is watching. They see these clumsy knuckleheads getting shots off directed at the former president. What are the odds they are coming to realize as a professional, they themselves can do a better job?
