April 5, 2025Antifa Mobs Attack TPUSA at UC Davis While Campus Police Stand Down
The University of California, Davis has become the latest flashpoint in the war against free speech, as masked Antifa agitators violently shut down a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event featuring former police officer Brandon Tatum. The chaos was met with silence from university officials and inaction from campus police, raising serious questions about the safety of conservative students exercising their First Amendment rights.
Violent Leftists Storm Conservative Event
The sanctioned TPUSA “Prove Me Wrong” event turned into a battleground when radical Antifa members attacked conservative students without provocation. Videos from the scene show masked extremists tearing down TPUSA’s tent, stealing banners, and attempting to grab electronics from event organizers.
One protester screamed, “Get out of the way, b*tch!” before assaulting a student holding a sign. TPUSA staff and supporters were left to fend for themselves as the harassment escalated and Antifa agitators brazenly destroyed property.
Campus Police Watch But Don’t Act
UC Davis police officers were present but shockingly refused to step in, even as criminal acts unfolded in front of them. The cowardly inaction drew backlash from across the conservative movement, with many accusing the university of allowing leftist violence to go unchecked.
This isn’t an isolated case. At the University of Texas at Dallas, the TPUSA chapter president was reportedly assaulted with a bike lock by a transgender activist. TPUSA’s Charlie Kirk blasted the double standard, pointing out the growing trend of campus officials ignoring left-wing violence while targeting conservative speech.

Universities Turning Against Free Speech
What happened at UC Davis is part of a disturbing pattern: universities are allowing mobs to intimidate and silence conservative students. TPUSA chapters across the country face similar attacks, all with little or no accountability for the violent agitators behind them.
Our “Prove Me Wrong” tabling event with @TheOfficerTatum at UC Davis was completely destroyed by violent protesters.
They stole the canopy, ripped down banners, smashed foam boards, and even tried to steal the iPad and laptop of a @tpusastudents field rep.

The message is clear — if you’re a conservative on campus, your rights come second. Schools that claim to value diversity and inclusion are turning a blind eye when it comes to ideological diversity. By failing to protect peaceful conservative events, universities are empowering radicals and endangering their own students.
If campus authorities won’t act, conservative voices must keep speaking louder. Free speech doesn’t belong to one side — and it’s time universities were held accountable for protecting all of it.
