Many Americans had a hope that after the 2024 presidential election, the fever would break in the media. The wish was that the industry would take a good look at itself and do a course correction. We yearned for a press that was not captured by Trump Derangement Syndrome, corporate greed, and Orwellian tendencies after Trump won again. It never happened, the media learned nothing, and because of that, nothing will change.

Obfuscation is the obscuring of the intended meaning of communication by making the message difficult to understand, usually with confusing and ambiguous language. In other words, together, they walk the plank, steadfast at a glance. In union, they all sank, through our hearts, the painful lance. You see what they want you to see, these are the Orwellians, they paint your brain with their falsehoods, the secret  Rockwellians. They will never give up, at least not until they’ve won; they’ve sold their souls to the task, integrity on the run. What reveals itself, right in front of our eyes, is that their teamwork was stealth, hidden behind a disguise.
