This November the Republican Party has a good chance to take back Congress and regain control once again. Normally a lot of us would be really happy about that, but not this time. For me, it is still fresh in my mind how the Republican establishment betrayed us all and abandoned all of their principles that last time they had control. I no longer trust them, and I am not sure they have learned their lessons. Most people I speak with think it will be business as usual for the Uniparty and that there is not much difference in the actual governing.
Yes, their rhetoric is very different campaigning for control, but we learned once they have the power, they spend money with the best of them. I don’t even agree anymore with them on where they spend the money. These wars and proxy wars are backed by the Republican Party, and I’ve had enough of that. Truth be told, I’m like a lot of people and just don’t identify with the party anymore. All of this gave birth to the America First Movement.
For me, there is very little that I agree with when it comes to the establishment priorities and the things they stand for. If the right regains control of Congress we must remember there are more party types than there are MAGA people in the House and Senate. America First politicians are the minority in the Republican Party, so what will winning Congress mean? Most every single bill Biden signed into law could have only happened with Republican votes.
So, my political home is with the America First Movement, not the ruinous Republican Party figureheads. What I’m saying is the fact that the Republicans might get the power back doesn’t excite me. Trump already had a Republican-controlled congress, and Paul Ryan and company rolled him like a drunk in an alley. More Republican voters identify themselves as part of the Populus movement of MAGA nowadays, the actual Republican politicians in Congress are not America First for the most part, so there is the rub. In truth, because we just don’t have anything in common with these people anymore winning back Congress in November is a big yawn.
The only thing I’ll be looking forward to this November is that fat juicy bird and the NFL. I know I’m not alone. There are millions in my boat who agree with my opinion. I used to follow politics because I felt it. Now I just follow it to track how they are all ripping us off or making our bodies sick with their overlords in the food chain and the pharmaceutical industry.
