July 21, 2024Vice President Doug Burgum Sounds Nice- Stay With Businessmen
Maybe it is time to realize that when we put career politicians in the Oval Office, everything seems to go Hell in a handbasket. Why not recognize, after our experience with Trump, that putting someone in office who just happens to know how to run things and fire people is important? I would be willing to back for vice president a former businessman like Governor Doug Burgum, than putting yet another career politician in the office.
What about Doug Burgum for vice president next time? As a student of NDSU, Doug started a chimney-sweeping business to put himself through college. After graduating from North Dakota State University Doug was accepted to go to Stanford Graduate School of Business. Doug took a family farm and its land that he inherited and put it up as collateral to invest in Great Plains Software in Fargo, North Dakota. Burgum became its president and took the company public in 1997. Doug later sold this company to Microsoft for 1.1 billion dollars in 2001. He later became the Governor of North Dakota, so Doug knows both the world of business and politics. What more could you ask for in a vice president and future president?
I don’t want another politician like Biden who knows nothing about running anything, let alone a nation. America is more like a business than anything else and we keep putting people in charge that can’t run a business. Hell, this last time we put Joe in charge, who had never run so much as a hot dog stand, and we can see how badly he screwed things up. Biden ran everything into the ground. Let us look at people who know how to successfully run a business. I think it is time to look in the mirror as Americans and ask ourselves what is more important, ideology, or a booming economy. We have all suffered under the yoke of the latest politician.
We just watched Joe Biden run the price of everything sky-high. Joe did not know what he was doing, he only knew ideology. Let me give you an example. On day one, Joe started a war with the fossil fuel industry. He started shutting down pipelines, putting people out of work, and shutting down oil drilling in our nation. That raised the cost of everything that we need to live. Joe destroyed our standard of living with that move. He did that because he believed in Progressive Green ideology silliness. A businessman knows not to do such an economically suicidal thing because everything runs on oil. The politician gives us inflation and the businessman gives us a dynamic economy. The choice could not be starker, which do you choose?
