This November the Republican Party has a good chance to take back congress and regain control once again. Normally a lot of us would be real happy about that, but not this time.
For me, it is still fresh in my mind how they betrayed us all and abandoned all of their principles. I no longer trust them and I am not sure they have learned their lessons. Most people I speak with, think it will be business as usual and that there is not much difference in the actual governing.
Yes, their rhetoric is very different, but we learned once they have the power, they spend money with the best of them. I don’t even agree anymore with them on where they spend the money. These wars are backed by the party and I’ve had enough of that. The truth be told, I’m like a lot of people and just don’t identify with the party anymore.

For me, there is very little that I agree with when it comes to their priorities and the things they stand for. I was for Medicare for all, they were not. I was sick to see them bounce on unemployment and cheer for the people to be cut off. I am completely against all these senseless wars and the money spent on them. I don’t cheer for the free market anymore, after watching what happened with Wall Street and the banks. I don’t think there is anything free when it comes to the free market; the whole thing is rigged.
I detest how they aligned themselves with religion. All that social-conservative crap telling people how to live makes me puke. There is very little agreement with me and the Republican Party. I certainly don’t relate to The Democrat Party; they are way too creepy for me.
So I don’t have a political home anymore. I can’t even stomach Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh anymore. Those guys sound nuts to me. I get more enjoyment watching Bill Maher.
What I’m saying is the fact that the Republicans might get the power back doesn’t really excite me. More people identify themselves as Independent nowadays, because we just don’t have anything in common with these people anymore.
The only thing I’ll be looking forward to this November is that fat juicy bird and the NFL. I know I’m not alone. There are millions in my boat with all of this. I used to follow politics because I felt it. Now I just follow it to track how they are all ripping us off.

We don’t trust any of them!
I’m disgusted with the Republican party because they are endorsing RINO’s in the coming election. In Illinois for US senator they are endorsing Mark Kirk a liberal on par with Pelosi. He is anti-gun, pro third term partial birth abortion, voted for Cap and Trade and the hate crime bill. His votes read liberal Democrat but he calls himself a Republican and the RNC swallows it hook, line, and sinker.
I feel the same way.I’m looking at the Tea Party.
This country needs more choices!
