We are a country in decline for so many reasons. Watching the unemployment program be hijacked by politicians and turned into a partisan ping pong, helped me make up my mind about something. I said this before and I’ll say this again, because in my heart I truly believe this. The modern United States Government is the biggest threat to the survival of the American family.

The politicians of this country represent a clear and present danger to the survival of this nation. They are becoming the single greatest enemy to the America Family and the damage they are doing seems unstoppable. The fact that either side of the left-right debate has any cheerleaders among the populace is blindingly frightening. Listening to some of my fellow Americans defend Senator Bunning and the Republicans over unemployment, left me speechless for days.

To embrace a national debt debate on the backs of the unemployed, while not realizing how that is not the venue for such a debate, scares the hell out of me. The unemployed and their extensions represent less than one percent of government spending and this is where my friends on the right want to stage their battle? The right wants to demand pay-go on the broken lives of the unemployed? My God, how misplaced and pernicious can that be?

I believe stepping on the necks of the jobless and playing some political game, while millions suffer, makes God Himself sit up at attention. I believe to do such a thing echoes in eternity. This is no small thing my fellow Americans. If this is how we as a nation are going to treat the poor and struggling among us, we are not a nation at all. To target the weakest among us, just to make some debate about government spending, is wrapped in a blanket of pure evil.

It is monstrously disingenuous to take the unemployment program and choose it as the battlefield for a government spending debate. There is an ideological cancer that has spread among the politicians and people of this country that will kill us all in the end. This game that was played in congress over unemployment, to me, was a bigger Earthquake than Haiti and Chili combined. There is no measurement or Richter scale available to measure the decline in our national priorities and morals. This was government literally picking on the poor and weakest among us.

Watching fellow Americans cheer this on, made me feel like how a Catholic Priest must  have felt watching the Romans feed Christians to the lions. How dare we act this way as a nation? How dare we target the poor and unemployed? It is not their fault they don’t have a job! Politicians and bankers wiped out ten million jobs. The tax code and so-called free trade agreements made the working class pay the piper and now we are going to act like this as a nation?

Shame on you! Shame on all of you to partake in this orgy of evil and ignorance. Let us not forget you bastards on the left. All you had to do was put these extensions on the books and pay for it to avoid this spectacular malevolence. Instead, you use it as a political football and cause utter chaos in people’s lives. The whole thing made me sick!

This nation is broken and my heart cries out for the future of our children. Christian nation my ass! Tune in next week as I reveal the government mirage and maze of eligibility dates and multiple tier illusions.
