They did it! The government of your nation did it! They just turned their backs on over a million people on unemployment and denied the extensions! Congress, in the most nefarious and pernicious move seen since “post economic collapse period,” has walked away, went home for the weekend and did not extend unemployment benefits to over a million America families.

One Senator from Kentucky was allowed to block the unemployment benefits and put over a million families in complete and utter jeopardy by cutting off the only income these families have to pay their bills. Jim Bunning the junior Senator from The Blue Grass State just decided to play politics with people’s survival and crushed the unemployed by making a national debt argument on the backs of over a million families. In the most coldhearted fashion, this venal man sold his soul to ideology and crushed under his foot the desperate millions of people who can not find a job due to no fault of their own.

The dysfunction of this government is now in full force and on display for every American to see. Those of us with a job who don’t speak out and do something, deserve to one day be in our fellow American’s shoes. Our government is completely out of control and with this latest failure has become the single biggest threat to the survival of the American family. To allow one politician from some small state to block extended unemployment for over a million people and their families goes beyond anything acceptable.

This is a direct assault on people’s ability to survive and this congress has now become a clear and present danger, not only to the millions of people they just harmed, but the rest of us as well. All you have to do is turn on your TV and see the civil unrest in Greece to know not just third world nations experience civil unrest. The government in Greece just cut off a lot of services and you see what happened there.

I, for one, don’t need or want to see this kind of thing in the streets of America. However, this is only the first million people the congress has cut off, there are millions more after them. These people who are unemployed and cut off are the people from the beginning of the economic collapse that lost their jobs. There are millions after them and what are the streets of America going to look like when these people hit skid row?

The government and Wall Street have wiped out ten million jobs and now won’t even float the people on unemployment who have nowhere to go! This is beyond a travesty; this is a government who is putting us all at risk with this incompetence and apathy.

People do you understand? One million, two hundred thousand individuals with at least 2 or 3 other family members in their homes, have no ability to pay their bills now. This affects probably around four million human beings. They are not from some third world nation on the other side of the planet. They are our neighbors, friends and family! No excuses; these people can not wait until some election in November to vote these bums out. Something has to be done this weekend!

My God what kind of country have we become? Our government is destroying millions of people. Are we just going to turn our backs because we still have a job? Where and what is the soul of this nation? I want an answer to that question now!

Here is the deal… all foreign aid should be suspended effective immediately! Not a single dollar goes to any foreign nation this weekend until this government takes care of these American families. Who would have guessed that the Democrat party with complete control of all branches of government would allow one ignorant Republican Senator to destroy millions of American families? Are we to believe that just couldn’t stop him??
