This puts a whole new perspective on the economic crisis going on right now; some people speculate we haven’t even entered the real recession yet, so what we are seeing now is just the BEGINNING of a living nightmare.
Well, either the Baby Boomers are going to have to take in their adult kids in again and raise them and pay for their food and living expenses, or the younger generations are going to be living in the streets.
I’m just being facetious of course; there is no way for this to happen as the younger generation already faces not being able to find employment.
This is a fiasco on such a grand scale that it boggles the mind. I truly think this could blast us into a new Dark Age unless drastic steps are taken, and that step includes taking control of government.
Correction to my last comment (third paragraph). I meant to say that there is no way the entire scheme of things will play as people thought it would. Even if we took the advice of some people who have said to “lay everyone off” to pay for social security, the most important issue here is, what will become of the younger generations? After all, the younger generations are human beings too.
Imagine a country where only elderly are collecting SS and the younger kids are on the streets. That paints a scenario for violence.
