Superbowl Sunday has become one of the biggest holidays in America. Being an indefatigable NFL fan, the weekend is both excited and sad. It’s exciting, because this year both teams in the game were and are considered to be the best two teams this entire season. It’s sad, because what it also means is that NFL fans drift into that depression knowing we are about to go through that stretch of the year without The NFL.

peyton2There is no other sport on Earth that compares to the excitement of The NFL and our Sundays are just not the same without it. A big part of my personal happiness of this weekend is the return of “The Bacon Explosion” that became such a huge hit last year.

The Bacon Explosion is something to eat that is so wonderful it begs for cardiac arrest. It is so fattening that you really can only eat it once a year. The explosion along with all the pizza, wings and adult beverages makes this one of my favorite weekends.

Watch the video I provide on The Bacon Explosion and try to make it this year. If you have never had it, you are in for a treat. It is a life changing party snack.

I just can’t wait until Sunday! As far as the game, I have no dog in the hunt. The Jets were knocked out, so for me I just want a good game to happen. My better half is a huge Peyton fan so it will be nice for me to watch her routing for “her Peyton.”

Myself, I’ll be pulling for The Bacon Explosion. Wait until you taste it.
