Why not? The man would be a fresh change. He is a billionaire, so he would not be beholding to corporate donors. He did a great job running New York City and is a successful businessman who gets things done.

He is more of a businessman than a politician and that in it gives him a step up. His true caring for regular people can not be denied and was on display went he railed against those EMT’s that let that woman die instead of having their coffee break interrupted. The man is tailor fit to be the next president but would he go up against Obama?

bloom02The country cannot wait until Obama is done with two terms. We need Michael this time around. We need him for 2012. We need executive experience in the White House and there is no better man or better time than now. He would clean Obama’s clock in the ballet box and there is no doubt of that.

My fear is, I know there is not a snowballs chance in Hell this country would reelect President Obama, but who we end up with to clean up this mess is vital. We really do need someone who knows how to run things. If Bloomberg were to run in 2012, I would do everything I could to help that man get the job.

Remember I’m speaking as a Floridian and not someone who lives in New York City. I can see talent 1700 miles away. I know this is his time. I just hope he doesn’t wait. We need his leadership now. I don’t care what you think of the man personally, he can do this job and do it well.

Let us drop the notion of electing who we’d like to have a beer with and actually elect someone who can do the job. He should run for president in 2012.
