Listen you lazy, good for nothing, won’t work bums. For two years I have gotten up and went to work everyday. I did not lose my job because I am good at my job. The only reason you people were fired is because you were not worth keeping. Funny how in all your job places their are people still for at your companies but you. Your not because you did not do a good job. For two years you made the rest of us pay you not to work. It is sick and now you are all being cut off. Well-Well, I beat most of you will go get jobs now. You are all bums and pirates and maybe next time you people will take your jobs more serious and do a better job. If any of you would good at your jobs, you would have never been laid off. Go to Hell, all of you! Bums! Bums ! Bums!

Every person who has used up their unemployment should still be calling in or using the internet to contact and file every week so that they will be counted as unemployed. WE need to spread that message to every person by word of mouth and using the media to ensure that the numbers go up to as close as possible for the actual percentage of people out there with no future because our government refuses to admit how bad the situation is. I have used up my unemployment like the rest of you but I refuse to go into limbo and just disappear so that the government can say unemployment is down. I would also suggest to have everyone elegible or not file a new claim so that you are counted.

How right you are-my son-in-law has been laid off for over two years and now has his EUC. I was “surplussed out” by a very large corporation that has let all those close to retirement go. i have not been on unemployment for a year yet, July 17 0f 2009 and am now looking at eligibility for EUC tier 4! How can that be??? My son-in-law on unemployment for over two years and I haven’t been on it for even a year! In Michigan the unemployment rate is over 14.7% and that number does not count the unemployed who are on tier 1 through 5!

YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY RIGHT, SO AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, IT IS ALL A BIG LIE TO MAKE EVERYONE BELIEVE THEY HAVE HOPE WHEN REALLY THEY HAVE NONE, THE TIERS ARE BULL, SOME GET MANY WEEKS ON EACH TIER WHILE SOME GET THE TWO WEEKS, THIS IS HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CAN GET ANOTHER JOB BECAUSE OF AGE DISCRIMINATION AND YOU PROBABLY ARE THE BETTER ONE FOR THE JOB THAN THE TWENTY AND THIRTY SOMETHINGS WHO WILL JUST QUIT WHEN THEY FIND ANOTHER JOB! WOW! This situation is really just getting worse and worse.I totally agree with the comment that this country is orchestating this entire collapse to institute changes.
What changes,try socialism and yes believe it or not,The New World Order.
Already many of you are saying,”another kook”.But are you all really that fucking blind! This is serious shit people.Are we gonna let these politicians take everything from us and bend over and ask for seconds.
First they took your 401k,then your house,then your job,then your family.This is my story and many of yours.
Only violence and bloodshed will take back this country from the traitors that have high jacked it.Don’t have the stomach for it,then you’ll just be trampelled under foot by this movement.
Violence is not the answer? This country was built on violence with the genocide of the Indians to the Civil War.I for one will not lie down.STOP paying your taxes people!!! Stop voting and supporting this system,it has failed you.
This is not the America my Grandfather fought for and I denounce this country,it’s civil servants and leaders.I will see you on the front lines fighting to take back what’s mine.

I had a good job for 5yrs and was laid off, because they were sending our work to India, Cheaper pay. (we had to even train them) what a joke… Well since then I cannot find a job. Iam 62, not dead yet, but the job field seems to think so. I have sent out hundreds of resumes like so many others of us… I have bills and a house, what is to happen to all of us. I have no answeres, those that have jobs even if there low paying jobs should be greatful for something. Iam not on the street yet, but the future does not look good, there are so many that have lost thier homes,thier savings, thier retirements everything the have… How sad our country has come to this.. I would like some answeres, I would be willing to do something, I just dont know what.

All this news of extensions and each time I check online as instructed I see I am always listed as being able to receive 73 weeks. So the extensions are meaningless to me? My date was Jan 9, 2009…(BTW, we have to speak up about things like this, too: in NY THERE IS NO way to contact a live person by phone even though they SAY there is. It should be illegal for Unemployment to be unavailable for people to ask questions. Enough with the simple-minded FAQs, they do not help).

The people who you finally do get a hold of IN PERSON if that’s ever possible, don’t actually understand either and so kind-of dismiss you.

The equivalent of “Tea Parties” which I am NOT saying I agree with. I am saying a grass roots turn out for those of us on unemployment or dumped from unemployment etc who can show we are real, we are many and that we know America’s being duped. We CAN do it just as regular citizens.

Honestly, it seems Obama doesn’t really understand what’s going on.

There is indeed a numbers game going. And Unemployment is contributing to problems by doing things like FORCING everyone to mail out resumes. It’s just flooding the very people with too much work, who we need to be hiring us! We’re giving them all stupid work and they’re not even reading our resumes under the best of circumstances because Unemployment Offices are forcing us to mail out to jobs we don’t even qualify for or that would not pay enough. They should stop that quota of having to apply to so many jobs so often. It’s making things worse.

It’s overwhelming employers and it’s making us look foolish to apply to companies for things we don’t want and to apply so many times. I feel like it’s shooting ourselves in the foot.

And I’m so sick of people acting like we’re not trying. People who are unemployed now are desperate NOT taking advantage! People who say it would be “fun” aren’t in the situation.

Let’s band together. I loved the comment above “the rich are raping us.”

THEY ARE.

We have to DO something.

Who else is game? We start our own grassroots exposure of what’s happening. And we figure out the answers. And publicize them. Let’s do it.

Is it just me, or did the Georgia DOL do the third and forth tier backwards? According to my weeks paid, I should have 4 weeks left from the last ten week extension and according to a letter received at the beginning of this month an additional 6 weeks. I received the letters with the forth extension first and the third last; is it just me ??

Both me & my husband have been out of work for over a year. If they cut us off we will not be able to feed our kids. There are no jobs in our area we have 15% unemployment and the real number is around 25%. Millions will be put on the street.

I have been out of work since Christmas of 2008 and I can’t find a job. I got one in 2009 and they laid me off in 6 weeks and nothing since then. If my benefits run out I will be homeless.
