Maybe it is time to consider that when we put career politicians in the Oval Office, every thing seems to go the Hell in a hand basket. Why not consider actually putting someone in office that just happens to know how to run things.

businessman2I would be willing to back any Fortune Five Hundred Executive who is in the top ten, than putting yet another neophyte in the office who knows nothing about running a nation.

America is more like a business than anything else and we keep putting people in charge that can’t run a business. Hell, this last time we put someone in charge that had never run so much as a hot dog stand.

What about Michael Bloomberg for president next time? Everyone in New York loved how he ran that city. The guy has built a fourteen billion dollar empire and seems to handle that.

Now I know that last time we considered this, it was Ross Perot and late in the campaign he revealed to us his nuttiness. In truth, many of these businessmen are a little weird, but who gives a damn. Just give me someone who could even spell economy.

Let us look at anyone who knows how to successfully run a business. I think it is time to look in the mirror as Americans and ask ourselves what is more important, ideology or a booming stock portfolio. Maybe next time we have a Tea Party Protest, we should consider inviting the CEO of Lipton.
