You know I sit and watch Bill Maher every week, whom I agree with almost never at all but wonder, where is all the intellectual firepower from the right on HBO? Who on our side is giving us cutting edge conservative think tank material on HBO ,unfettered and celebrated?  No kidding folks. I am so sick of these left wing mental giants who believe in everything from getting tax breaks for underage San Salvadorian whore houses, to filling up every home with mercury light bulbs to save the planet on HBO.  However on the national stage Rush, Sean and Glenn lay waste to Bill Mar, yet the mainstream media and cable shows on paid channels don’t give our guys a show.

Rush,Sean and Glenn can debate these venal misfits, without stepping on their own crank and saying or believing the most ridiculous things? The right wing has never made me more proud than it has in the last so many years and I’m proud to call them my own .

Where is all the brainpower on HBO? Who the hell out there speaks for me on paid cable channels?

Pink Floyd said it the best. “Welcome to the machine.” Now the machine has become some never ending merry-go-round of talking head on the Bill Mar show. Do you think they speak for the people now?  All I see now is the machine. No intellectual powerhouse material graces the national stage from the right on HBO. I can’t be the only one out there staving for some right-wing heavyweight to go toe to toe with these people.

My dear countrymen, it is not like we need political rocket scientists to beat down these empty ideas from the left. This Christmas I am asking Santa for a person with a brain, a spine and some balls to go after the left. I read Levine’s book and it was worth my money. I  learned so much.

We need our voice on HBO, we need it now. It is the intellectual that is the horse before the cart. It is the intellectual’s ideals that will pull some leader out of obscurity and bring him to the front porch of political superiority. Everyone who agrees with me, maybe we could start a billboard campaign across the country saying “Help Wanted on HBO: Leadership From The Right.” Can I get an Amen?
