All I wanted was Medicare for all and the proper funding of it. That never got off the ground and a single payer system was never in the cards in this debate. Then the public option and that idea, becomes the victim of a political rape. So that is never going to happen.

I sat down and read as much of all of the bills I could that was out there and they are all so screwed up that I am convinced now to just let the whole reform thing go. I watched the President bounce from one network to another with his propitious fantasies. His avoidance of Fox News showcasing the insidious votary which is his presidency, was utterly on stage.

These politicians are completely out of control and they are using health care to rewrite everything from the tax code to making it a crime to not purchase health insurance. These people are nuts and are trying to crush us with an overreaching government. Some of the bills that they are working on barely resemble health care reform, but look like some social rewrite of our way of life. They are drunk with the thought of expanding government to parts of our lives that have nothing to do with health care.

Not a single plan out there covers all the people and the term “Universal Health Care” has disappeared from their very own vernacular. It has been replaced by the term “Mandate” and making criminals out of twenty-year-olds who don’t want or need health care. Obama blasted Hilary Clinton on her notion of mandates and now he supports it. That is an amazing form of lying political contagiousness.

This whole idea of covering every American became a train that went off the rails and crashed into the cartoon graveyard that is our political system. Modern day American politicians could not hold the jock strap of their predecessors and until an entire generation of crooked and depraved people passes away, we will never get anything done. This is the most dysfunctional group of malcontents and politicians that has ever graced our democracy. You can’t trust any of these parties.

This two party system is one of the most broken forms of government in the western hemisphere. Just look at the story from the right with the politician spanking a naked energy lobbyist, while preaching family values and then look at the story from the left, with ACORN trying to help set up under age whore houses with tax breaks. These two parties have destroyed any chance for people to believe in government and Americans will still continually die from malevolent corporate health insurance greed. Health insurance companies be damned. Government be damned. The ignorant masses be damned. You get what you vote for. Now for me, I’ll just ponder tuning out from it all and making a drink. Football season is here.
