The unemployment numbers are subject to some three-card Monty shell game. The numbers that you hear that are given out by your lovely government is bogus. They are nowhere near accurate nor do the government unemployment numbers resemble reality. The numbers do not include the people that were on unemployment and couldn’t find a job because there are none or the countless people who are off unemployment only because their government cut them off and there were no jobs to be found in this dismantled economy. These people are not included in the statistics. It is a shell game.

Your government is frightened to death over the number ten. Double-digit unemployment is regarded as a Democrat thing and we are there again, but they don’t want you to know. The government played a huge part in the condition of today’s economy with Freddie and Fannie, yet Obama’s administration is letting people hit the streets with no way to pay their bills and no jobs in sight. Until the people who destroyed this economy do something to fix it, the least they can do is make sure no one loses that safety net until there are truly jobs out there for the people to get.

Don’t tell me Obama can give all that prodigious money to Hamas, but has no money to extend unemployment as long as the people of this country need it. Those of us who are doing okay and our heads are above water need to have compassion for the millions of Americans who are in the worst jam of their lifetime due to no fault of their own. Conservatives can take their ideology and shove it where the sun don’t shine if they give you any of that go get a job scenario. There are no jobs and millions of Americans are being kicked out of the safety net with nowhere to go. All of this money is going overseas to other countries and pointless wars; I point to this fact, when one single American is kicked off unemployment in these grave times.

If the United States wants to maintain some global empire while at the same time people are hitting the streets losing their jobs and homes, then it is now time to look at every single elected official and rethink what we do with these immoral scoundrels. We all know people who are hurting, all of us. If you turn a blind eye to what is going on, then you are immoral and it will be you next.

Rush Limbaugh, in another showcase of his lack of understanding of regular people, opened up his airways to the public the day before the country’s birthday to people who kept saying nothing is wrong here. One after the other these disconnected, lost souls took turns saying how the recession has not affected them at all. They spoke as if nothing was wrong. It was the pick-up-your-bootstraps and get-a-job crowd that was showcased on the eve of the Fourth of July; apparently completely oblivious to the reality that surrounds all of us.

If you ever need a example of why conservatism is dead, get a hold of the radio show that aired on Rush Limbaugh July 3rd. If you do ever get a chance to hear it, get ready for the shock-and-awe to your consciousness. Get ready to realize that there are people in America whom collectively have no connection whatsoever to any concern for their fellow Americans or their country at all. As long as they are doing okay, the rest is your fault and compassion is an unknown concept to these selfish fuglemen.

The governors, who did not take the stimulus money for the people of their states, even though their citizens have to collectively pay the debt back, should be thrown out of office. That stimulus plan had money in it for extended unemployment. The people of those states have to pay back the debt anyway, but their governors took away that safety net and let their people hit the streets. This was done because of some blind allegiance to ideology and nothing to do with the pragmatism and its effect on their people.

The Vice President said on a Sunday morning show that the Obama administration was not considering another stimulus, which would bring more unemployment benefits. How many millions of people need to lose their jobs or homes before that becomes a civil unrest problem for all of us?
