Already I have seen some of my Republican leaning friends and people I respect start to take apart the speech our President gave in Egypt. I can see now that the debate within the Republican leaning community has been high jacked by those of the extreme right. Their bellicose voices drown out a more practical way to descent. It is the Joe Scarborough leaning view that I find myself in unisonous with and not the Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity narrow view of black and white or right and wrong. It is up to people like Joe Scarborough and others like myself that have to Scarborough up to the extreme right of this party and push back. We have a voice too and Mr. Limbaugh’s checklist of who we are can be damned.

This is my descent… I categorically stand in opposition to this President ‘s way of governing and just completely reject his philosophy of the role of government. I say to you now, Obama’s spending and accumulation of debt is immoral. This, above all else, offends me. To pass on for the first time in America’s history a devastating debt to American’s not yet born is for me the most immoral thing about this man. I feel shame as an American who happened to be alive when this holocaust of debt transpired before my very eyes.

I want to fight this spending and others things about this President I don’t agree with. I want my voice heard in this debate, but not to the detriment of common sense and not to the level where I attack everything he does. This is where I part ways with a lot of Republican leaning, ideological, bomb throwers. This crowd that can’t give our President a break every once in a while or even give him credit for doing something well.

This speech in Cairo was spectacular and more meaningful than any speech I’ve seen an American President give abroad since Ronald Reagan stood on that wall in Berlin. Of course I didn’t agree with every single thing the man said, like committing a billion and a half dollars every year to Pakistan to build roads and schools. It is this very disregard for fiscal restraint and responsible spending that, to me, makes President B. Hussein Obama dangerous to for all of us. I’ve been using that version of his name and have taken a lot of heat over it. However, I see it is now in fashion to use his middle name again. {Please hold off on your apologies to me}

I truly believe in my soul that this man will bankrupt all of us and that scares me. That should scare you. As far as the speech goes, it is a start and a welcome engagement of the Muslim world. Since we have spilled so much blood for these people, I want this to be a bipartisan effort to try another style. Let’s see if it works. America put into the oval office a man born from a Muslim father who has lived in a Muslim country. This puts all of us in a unique position to at least try to reach these people. This is not an area we should tear him down. Period. If you can not understand that, than you and I will never see eye to eye and I want no part of being associated with your line of thinking.

Everything Obama does is not bad for God’s sake. When I see Republicans making some big stink over our President taking his wife out to dinner and a show, I’m mortified! What the hell is wrong with you people? I don’t give a rat’s ass how much that costs! He is the President of The United States of America for God’s sake and is entitled to go to the moon for lunch if he wants. He earned it and I want him to do all the great things I would do, if I were in his esoteric shoes. It is that kind of crap that will destroy this two party system by decimating the Republican Party beyond repair. These flibbertigibbets are blind lost souls to be confronted. Now I know this is nothing new.

I remember Republicans making a big stink over the money President Clinton spent when he sent the Navy to go retrieve John Kennedy Jr.’s plane from that watery grave. There were these disgusting Republican voices complaining about the money that was spent and making the claim John Jr. was not an elected official. Here was the son of one of our President’s dead on the bottom of the ocean in a plane and they just wanted Clinton to leave them there or let the Kennedy’s pay for the recovery effort. It is times like this I hate even being associated with Republicans. Hey man, that was the President’s dead son down there, how dare you people. It is this lack of class that makes my blood boil. Any child of any one of our President’s should be under the umbrella of America’s capabilities in a situation like that.

Well, once again the voices of hate rattle their vocal cords and the rest of us have to grimace in face of such partisanship. The man is the President of the United States and can take his wife anywhere at taxpayer’s expense. This is America! Have some class! The speech in Cairo, Egypt was a good thing overall and a welcome change of pace. Let him try and if it doesn’t work than to hell with Muslims, I say.

End of story.
