Now a whole new generation of Americans who were not alive during the Carter years and were too young to be aware of the Clinton years can now see what it is like to have the democrats in charge. Now they get a little taste of what it is like when these scoundrels control the government and target our wallets.

While the Earth’s temperatures are around what the average was in the twentieth century and while they are actually going down not up, the democrats attack the energy companies. They come up with this Cap and Trade scheme where they blast our energy companies with crazy fines based on the notion carbon is killing the planet. To Hell with the seven hundred scientists who signed a statement saying this whole global warming thing is a lie.

This is about revenue and redistribution of wealth. It is that simple. Let me give you a specific example that affects just me. This is how the democrats get me personally with their madness and literally pick my pocket. Forget about all the countless other stories out there about this. Just listen to my plight.

My power company where I live is Progress Energy. Jan.1st 2009 Progress energy lobbied Florida legislators to agree to a twenty-five percent increase in all of our electric bills to pay for another nuclear power plant to be built in Levy County, Florida. Forget the fact that this is a business that wants to expand but doesn’t want their own profits and revenue to pay for it. Let’s forget for a moment that Florida’s politicians sold us all out and agreed to a twenty-five percent increase.

The reality is when 2009 came around we are now paying a lot more for electricity than we did just a month before. We were all using the same amount of electricity for our homes but a three hundred dollar electric bill was now three hundred and seventy five dollars. This in the middle of an almost collapsed economy was no small thing for people to absorb. Now last week before the House of Representatives even passed their version of the Cap and Trade Bill and before they added three hundred more pages to the Bill at three in the morning, Progress Energy put out a public statement that says they will have to increase our electric bill up to fifty percent if this becomes law.

Now this fifty percent increase will be on top of the twenty-five percent increase. So in one year, Floridians with Progress Energy could see a seventy-five percent increase in their electric bill. Now this is not some theory of what could happen when the democrats are in charge, this is the evident truth of the pain of their governance.

If Obama ran around the country when he was running for president and said ninety-five percent of the people will see no tax increase but he would almost double your monthly electric bill, how many votes would he have gotten? This is what they do when they get the helm and start to steer things in their crazy directions. They take some hoax about humans effecting the Earth’s temperature and blast businesses with fines and taxes. One thing that you and I know is that businesses will “never” pay for these government schemes. They will just pass it down to us the consumers. Now I have no other choice for an electric company, so Bam! The democrats get me again!

It really is unbelievable and there is not a damn thing I can do about it if it goes down like this. I am so sick of ideology on either side robbing my wallet. They are all legalized pocket pickers and people need to see how these mad-dog politicians cost us so much money. How many people struggling on a budget will turn off their air conditioner or heat when it is needed the most because they can’t afford it and die? That my dear readers is how Cap and Trade kills people.

The minute Obama signs some version of this into law, he will set in motion the death of countless working class and poor people. Even if one person dies over this, it didn’t need to happen. I think when he signs the bill he should use red ink, that way it could signify the blood on his hands when he signs Cap and Trade into law. This is just another example of “the we the people” style of government. Agitprop, all of it! Wake up; your destiny is knocking at the door, America. We will need another Moses to bring us out of this enslavement. Instead of holding a staff, he’ll be holding a ballet with a hanging chad.
