America received its one day trial balloon from the White House in which President B. Hussein Obama decided to see what reaction he would get for a new idea. The White House floated a trial balloon to see if there would be any reaction from the public on taking away medical insurance from veterans to save some money on the budget. People went crazy.

The VFW and just about every veteran organization decried quick and loud. The White House quickly dropped it and the mainstream media ignored it and quickly went on the the next news story trying to cover the tracks of this immoderate idea. However the veterans of this country will not forget this effort. It left people wondering what kind of monster is this president to even think about not taking care of our wounded vets and others who get to use the services of the VA Hospitals of this nation.

To even harbor such a thought seems so callous and out of touch.  His mocking of special needs people on the Tonight Show with his Special Olympics comparison on his bowling, highlighted to a completely different group of people his lack of respect for life. One by one people are starting to apperceive that this man has no respect for life in all of its forms. It fascinates me to watch other people open their eyes to this man’s moral compass. 

As soon as I found out how he couldn’t get himself to vote for medical rights for aborted babies that survived abortion attempts, I knew this man didn’t respect life. If he couldn’t get himself to protect those babies dying on the floor of that janitor’s room in the hospital, how could this guy possibly have the moral make up to be the leader of the free world?  This president has no respect for life. It is clear and the fact that people ignore that and still support him, is a choice people are making that could have a direct effect on devaluing life even further. People are choosing this darkness and supporting him anyway. To turn a blind eye to this man’s lack of respect for life, makes one complicit in its application.

I heard about a movement where people are going to send an empty red envelope to the White House to represent all the children killed by abortion since Roe vs. Wade. All the people who care about respect for life in all of its forms will be mailing their envelopes on March 31th. They call it “Red Envelope Day” and on the front of the envelope they will address it -

On the back of the envelope they will all write:

“This envelope represents one child who died because of abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is unable to be a part of our world.” 

Special needs people and organisations also are welcome to participate to protest their own dismay of our president’s lack of respect for all levels of life. Military veterans should be on board as well now that they know he wanted to put them on the streets with no health insurance to save a buck. From cradle to grave one can map our president’s lack of respect for life and see that this man does not deserve our support.

I for one will be participating in “Red Envelope Day.”
